We have preselected partners – travel agencies. They offer various tours of St. Petersburg’ sightseeings and marvellous excursion programs that can be combined with dance master classes. We would be happy to refer you to an agency which can provide you with a complying your needs program.  Our partner travel agencies will be able to form any excursion program at the request of your group.

Excursions price can vary from 20 EUR per person (for bus sightseeing tour – main streets, monuments – 2,5 hours) to 75 EUR per person (6 hours bus tour – palaces of St.Petersburg and suburbs – Pavlovsk, Pushkin etc.). Walking sightseeing tours vary from 15 to 30 EUR per person.

The program in the summer period can be adjusted, since the queues in some museums during this period take several hours. But we have great alternative offers for you, since in St. Petersburg has many interesting palaces to visit!

4 days programme

1 Day.
Sightseeing tour of the city of St. Petersburg with a visit to the most iconic places of the
city
with obligatory stops for photos. If guests wish, it’s possible to go down the subway and
take a look at the Vladimirsky market in the city center.
After lunch, a memorial museum awaits us – apartment of the great Russian composer
N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov, and then a fascinating walk along the rivers and canals on a boat.
2. Day.
A trip to the sea in the port city of Kronstadt. An interesting tour will tell about Russia,
how about
Great sea power and the creation of a navy. In the second half return to the city and lunch,
after which you will have an excursion to the backstage of the Mariinsky Theater, and in
the evening performance.
3. Day.
The day will begin with a visit to the legendary cruiser Aurora, there will be an opportunity

Informal Petersburg 3 days programme

1 Day.
An excursion around non-traditional Petersburg with a visit to the well-yards, non-tourist, but quite
attractive streets, alleys, courtyards, which rarely looks and an ordinary resident of the Northern
Capital. Excursion to Smolny with a visit to the bunker under government knowledge. After lunch,
we are waiting for a visit to the Nicropolis of Alexander Nevsky Laurels, and after visiting the
backstage of the Mikhailovsky Theater, and in the evening a ballet.
2. Day.
Walk on a retro train to Tsarskoye Selo. Visit to the Catherine Palace and the Amber Room.
Lunch and return to the city through the Pulkovo Heights with a visit to the Pulkovo Observatory.

3. Day.

1 Day
Sightseeing tour of St. Petersburg with a visit to the most iconic places in the city with obligatory stops for
photographs, as well as the Singer building, where it is currently located the most famous bookstore in the city
is the “House of Books”. There will be an opportunity to climb the roof of the dome and admire the panorama
of Nevsky Prospect. After lunch, waiting for us Museum-apartment of the Great Russian poet A.S. Pushkin
Then we’ll go to the backstage Alexandrinsky Theater, and in the evening to the ballet.
2. Day.
A country excursion to Pavlovsk, with a visit to the palace and park. After lunch, return to the city and an
excursion to the main building of the Russian National Library. Then visit Museum of the apartment of the
great Russian writer F.M. Dostoevsky.
3. Day.
A tour of the first presidential library, which is located in the former building of the Senate and Senode.
Then we will go to the apartment-museum of the Russian poetess Anna Akhmatova, and lunch is waiting for us
in the famous “Literary Cafe” on Nevsky Prospekt. After we will visit another

Tour of the rivers and canals.

A unique opportunity to see the “Venice of the North” from the water. Routes pass
in the most beautiful places and overlook the waters of the Big Neva. Bridges with their
forged
bars, Summer Garden, vibrant facades of palaces and sparkling golden domes of
churches

State Hermitage Museum.

The treasury of St. Petersburg, one of the largest museums in the world with a unique
collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings, jewelry and priceless artifacts of world
culture. The museum occupies a historical building – the former main residence of the
Russian emperors, exhibition halls are the former chambers of the autocrats, but the
museum has preserved and recreated the private rooms of the highest Russian nobility,
which makes visiting the Winter Palace even more interesting.

Faberge Museum.

Private museum located in the palace of the Naryshkin-Shuvalovs. It has an unparalleled
collection of Russian jewelry and arts and crafts of the 19th – 20th centuries. The most
valuable and famous objects in the museum’s collection are 9 imperial Easter eggs created
by the company of Carl Gustav Faberge.
The museum’s collection includes, among other things, the first and last of the imperial
eggs.

Excursion to Smolny Palace

A unique opportunity to visit the corridors of power of the modern city.
The Smolny Museum tells about the history of the building, which gained worldwide fame as
the headquarters of the 1917 revolution. Before the revolution, the building was the first Russian
state women’s educational institution, Smolny Institute for Noble Maidens. The exposition of the
museum reflects all the main stages of the building’s history – the Smolny Institute for Noble
Maidens, Smolny – the residence of the first Soviet government 1917-1918, Smolny. Blockade
Days and Buisness Smolny. During the tour there is the opportunity to visit the bunker, built
under the Smolny building in the 1930s, in which during the Great Patriotic War the city
leadership was hiding from enemy bombing.

Kunstkamera (Peter the Great Museum of Ethnography and Anthropology)

The first public museum of the country, created by decree of the first Russian emperor
Peter the Great. The museum tells about the life and culture of different peoples and
countries, a separate room is dedicated to their own collections of Peter the Great and the
luminary of Russian science M.V. Lomonosov. The tower houses the Great Gottorp
Globe Planetarium and the first observatory of the Russian Empire.

Yusupov Palace.

The permanent residence of the princes Yusupov close to the royal family.
The palace went down in history as the site of the murder of Grigory Rasputin, healer
Tsarevich Alexei, son of the last Russian emperor Nicholas II.
Grand halls, a theater, living rooms and historical rooms, as well as a basement and the
interiors of the room where the tragedy was played, were opened.

Russian Museum.

The largest collection of Russian art in the world.
Paintings of great Russian artists, a unique collection of ancient Russian icons, Soviet-era
art, graphics, sculptures, numismatics, decorative and applied and folk art, as well as
archival materials.
The main museum building is located in the Mikhailovsky Palace, in the very center of
St. Petersburg.

Necropolis of the Alexander-Nevsky Lavra

A unique open-air museum, where great figures of Russian culture and art (poets, writers,
artists, directors, dancers and public figures such as Dostoevsky, Tchaikovsky, Glinka,
Balakirev, Shishkin, Antokolsky, Tovstonogov and many others).

Imperial Porcelain Factory

Excursion to the IPF (Imperial Porcelain Factory) with the possibility of conducting a
master class on painting on porcelain *.
The excursion program includes a visit to the Workshop of highly artistic products, where
you can watch the process of manufacturing various porcelain items, as well as visit the
Gallery of Modern Porcelain Art, which displays the best examples of high porcelain art
to date.
At the end of the tour, experienced consultants will be happy to help you in choosing

Cruiser Aurora

The legendary museum ship is moored in the very center of St. Petersburg and invites
the most curious guests on board to touch the maritime history of the Northern capital.
Since 1948, the Aurora has been parked at the Petrograd embankment at the source of
the Bolshaya Nevka. The cruiser moved several times for repairs,
last returned to the parking lot on July 16, 2016. The cruiser Aurora is an object of
cultural heritage of the Russian Federation.

Walking around night Petersburg with observation of opening of bridges.

The most romantic time of the year in Brilliant St. Petersburg is the time for Belykh
nights. A unique natural phenomenon when the sun is captured over the horizon for a
couple hours, but even then the city does not have time to plunge into complete darkness.
Peak of the White nights falls in mid-June but before and after the romance doesn’t
disappear, because the city stands on the water, bridges are thrown across the Neva River,
which in the period navigations open every night. Take a walk around the night city,
observation “of opening of bridges”. This tour invites you to take unique photos.

Museum of Russian Vodka.

The exposition is divided into sectors-era. An interesting collection contains old
bottles, corks, labels, documents, household utensils. A special pride of the museum are
two compositions of wax figures.
The excursion program includes an examination of the exposition with a fascinating
story about the history of the creation of vodka, from the 11th century to the present day.
At the end of the tour, guests are offered a tasting of several varieties of vodka with
traditional Russian snacks. The Museum has a restaurant “Russian Glass № 1” with a
recreated interior of the late XIX century, where there are tastings of modern vodka
varieties, and it is also possible to order a full dinner.

In all theaters, visitors are led along secret corridors that are usually visited by directors,
artists, and choreographers. They are escorted to dressing rooms, costumes are shown,
rehearsal rooms. You will see and feel the life of the theater from the inside.

Literary and musical Petersburg
Museum-apartment of the Great Russian poet A.S. Pushkin.

The only memorial apartment in St. Petersburg by A.S. Pushkin is dedicated to the last, most dramatic,
period of the poet’s life. The museum is housed in the former mansion of the Volkonsky princes – “on the
Moika River near Konyushenny Bridge”.
In the ground floor of this house, in an apartment of eleven rooms, Pushkin and his family settled in
September 1836. Here, four months later, on January 29 (February 10, according to a new style) in 1837,
the poet died, mortally wounded by J. Dantes in a duel.

Museum-apartment of F. I. Chaliapin.

The entrance hall, dining room, bedroom, large and small living rooms have been restored, as well as
the corner of the artist’s dressing room at the Mariinsky Theater. The main events of Chaliapin’s life and
work are represented in the exposition by letters, photographs, posters and programs, his personal things
and household items, paintings and drawings, theater costumes and sketches of the scenery for the
performances in which Chaliapin played. The museum also houses collection weapons donated to the
singer Maxim Gorky.
Of particular interest are the paintings by outstanding artists A. Golovin, K. Korovin, A. Yakovlev,
depicting Chaliapin in life and on stage. The famous portrait by B. Kustodiev (1921) is also on display.
Chaliapin loved this portrait very much and took it abroad with him.
In 1968, the singer’s daughters Marfa and Marina donated the portrait as a gift to the Theater Museum.

Museum-apartment of F. M. Dostoevsky.

In this house Dostoevsky rented an apartment twice: for a very short time in 1846 and from October
1878 until the day of his death – January 28, 1881. The beginning and end of the creative path were
paired at one point. Here he worked on the early story Double, his last novel, The Brothers Karamazov,
was written here. The apartment of Dostoevsky was recreated according to the memoirs of
contemporaries and the writer’s wife.

Museum-apartment of N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov.

It is by far the only composer museum in St. Petersburg. The museum is located in the courtyard
outbuilding of house 28 on Zagorodny Prospekt, where Rimsky-Korsakov
spent the last 15 years of his life from 1893 to 1908. Here were created 11 of the composer’s 15 operas,

Museum-apartment of A. A. Blok.

The museum consists of two parts: a memorial apartment created on unique
genuine furnishings and furnishings that belonged to the poet, and literary exposition telling about his life
and work.

Museum-apartment of Anna Akhmatova.

Here Akhmatova lived from 1925 to 1952 with a break for evacuation from the besieged city.
In 2003, the Anna Akhmatova Museum in the Fountain House divided the exhibition into a memorial
part, which returned the architectural appearance of the Punin-Akhmatova apartment to the 1920-1940s
of the XX century, and the literary one, which was located next to the apartment.

Traveling in the suburbs of St. Petersburg.

Tsarskoye Selo, the city of Pushkin.

A unique museum-reserve, the pearl of which is the magnificent Catherine Palace with the
famous amber room, as well as a park with grottoes and the Cameron Gallery. The palace was the
official summer residence of several emperors of the Russian Empire, now it houses collections
paintings, sculptures, arts and crafts, furniture and porcelain. The private chambers of the
reigning persons were restored, household items, costumes and jewelry were exhibited.

Peterhof, Petrodvorets.

The most famous museum-reserve of the Northern Capital. Created in the image of
Versailles by the first Russian Emperor Peter the Great, for three hundred years now he
has been attracting the attention of thinking and interested people from all over the world.
The beautifully thought-out ensemble of architecture and landscape art amazes and
delights the eyes. Upper and lower parks conceal amazing constructions, charming natural
corners, toy fountains and entire palaces such as Monplaisir, Bath Complex, Marley
Palace and others, which make it possible to touch the real life of the reigning dynasty of
Russian autocrats.

Pavlovsk.

“The genius of Pavlovsk heals the soul. Tested for centuries “
The Pavlovsk palace and park ensemble, created in the heyday of Russian classicism of
the late XVIII – early XIX centuries. – a monument of cultural heritage,
UNESCO protected. Pavlovsky Park – a unique monument of landscape art of the late
XVIII-early XIX centuries. Together with the Pavlovsk Palace, it forms a single artistic
palace and park ensemble.

Kronstadt.

The port city located on the island of Kotlin and the adjoining smaller islands of the
Gulf of Finland and the dam.
The most interesting sights of Kronstadt are its forts. A fort is a fortress on an island or
a fortified island. The forts were built on the island of Kotlin, where the city of Kronstadt
is located and on the surrounding natural and artificial islands to protect St. Petersburg.
The largest of the forts is Alexander I, which is many times larger than the more famous
French fort Bayard.
The Naval Cathedral in Kronstadt is one of the main attractions of the city. The
grandiose building is a unique monument to the heroism and courage of Russian sailors.
In the temple there are memorial plaques with the names of those who gave their lives
defending the Fatherland at sea.

Gatchina.

Located on a hill above Silver Lake, the palace combines the themes of a medieval castle and
a country residence. The interiors of the palace are an example of Russian classicism at the turn
of the 18th – 19th centuries. The palace was one of the favorite resting places of the royal family.
Gatchina Palace Park is one of the most beautiful and mysterious suburban parks in St.
Petersburg.
